Laneia is a practicing Aquarian raised in the Tennessee hills. She's also the Executive Editor of Autostraddle, where she's written about her feelings and given advice for eight years. She probably wants to talk to you about menstruation, childbirth, boxed wine, sad songs, telepathy, never smiling, esoteric cosmology, and kittens! Laneia lives in Phoenix with her wife Megan, two kids, and two dogs. She'd rather be back in the South, but listen, it's fine.
Rachel is Autostraddle's managing editor, and is a published writer of fiction, nonfiction and journalism. She's led writing workshops both at camp and in university settings, and most recently was a visiting scholar to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's LGBT+ Studies Program. Her proudest accomplishments include co-leading X-Files Bingo and also the time she guessed a bar's wifi password correctly on only the second try.
Alex is a Visual Designer at Deloitte Digital in Seattle and co-founder of Autostraddle.com. Also an occasional drummer, silly dancer, whiskey society member, and climber of rocks/walls. Native New Yorker and previous resident/lover of Los Angeles. She believes it's an exciting time to be alive.
Nikki Smaga, COOL
Nikki is the Logistics Coordinator for A-Camp 8.0. She has 3-years professional event coordinating experience under her belt. Has been an intern for Autostraddle for two years. She is originally from Wisconsin where every summer as a child she would try to befriend deer at her family’s favorite campground. She was also bitten by a peacock at the same campground.
Lauren Klein, Program Support
Lauren Klein is 24 years old and lives in New York City. She recently graduated from Juilliard with a highly practical degree in Trumpet Performance. A Seattle-based comedian, writer and comic book reader, El Sanchez has been performing all over the country since 2010. Their conversationally cynical, yet upbeat comedic style weaves together a unique mix of embarrassing personal stories, nerdy obsessions, social politics and possible overshares, making light of their own instances of social incompetence while also skewering oppressive social norms. The have been called "fearless" by City Arts Magazine, "a grumpy nugget of delight," by writer/activist Lindy West, "a local favorite," by Seattle alt weekly The Stranger and "a brilliant new voice everyone should know," by comedian Hari Kondabolu. Grammy Award winning singer/song-writer Kimya Dawson (The Moldy Peaches, Juno) has cited Sanchez as her 'favorite underground Northwest comedian' while W. Kamau Bell, comedian and host of CNN's United Shades of America, once said, "El Sanchez is the truth."

An NYC transplant from the Pacific NorthWest, she’s a tiny not-quite-thirty year old illustrator, comic artist, writer, disability advocate, and general maker-of-stuff. She lives in and works out of a cozy ("too small") apartment in Brooklyn with her partner, Katharine and two dogs. When she’s not drawing her guts out, she is also a really dedicated lip-sync(er), whiskey-drunk bar hugger, and horror/sci-fi movie enthusiast. She frequently struggles between her deep desire to live in an isolated cabin in the woods, and her very real need to live within half a block of a coffee shop surrounded by strangers. She thoroughly enjoys #cleverhashtags, the word "jorts," and talking about her period. She’s the proud one and only member of the Lesbians against cats club (She’ll likely come around, she once "hated" vests for a period of time and lez be real, she rocks a Carhartt.)
