Robin co-directed the first 6 sessions of A-Camp and is excited to be back in the role once again. She grew up going to and working at sleep-away camps and enjoys a really well crafted s'more. Robin is an art director and photographer producing visuals for advertising, entertainment and editorial clients. Her production company, Scheme Machine Studios, is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for the production of Suicide Kale, an Outfest and NewFest award-winning queer film.
Marni Kellison, Co-Director
Founding Co-Director of A-Camp and proud member of the A-Camp Family Band, gearing up for the 2016 one-night-only reunion tour. Spent some time in feminist academia and the non-profit sector before veering into the trades and finally landing in diplomacy. Proud Canadian, aspiring breadbaker, bourbon enthusiast. Riese Bernard, Executive Director
Riese is the aspiring power lesbian who invented A-Camp and is the Co-Founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Autostraddle.com. She is a GLAAD-award-nominated journalist as well as an other-award-winning blogger, fictionist, video-maker and copy-writer. Her work has appeared in magazines including Marie Claire and Curve and online including Nylon, Jezebel and Emily Books.
Sarah Sarwar, Marketing & Design Director
Sarah is a biracial femme designer who spent eight years in corporate advertising before being ricocheted into the world of Autostraddle. She's in charge of designing merch and all things advertising–including getting cool sponsors for camp! Into taking her shoes off in the rain, bubble bath soaks, and being enthusiastic on the dance floor. Wants to take photos of you with your favorite A-Camp swag!
Reneice, Talent Liason/Evening Program Manager
Reneice is a black, queer, plus size femme living in Los Angeles. This gives her lots of content for her position as a Staff Writer at Autostraddle, and her work as a life coach for creatives in LA. She worked really hard and spent way too much money on her Masters in Social Work from New York University, and is an active and vocal advocate for racial equality and justice, LGBTQ rights, feminism, and body positivity. She has a serious obsession with robes and cookbooks, and loves yoga, brunch, and succulents like any good millenial angeleno should.
